Advantages and disadvantages of carbon steel:

Advantages :

Disadvantages :

The yield ratio of carbon steel is about 0.6, and that of alloy steel is 0.85 to 0.9. Carbon steel has low strength. 2. No special performance.

Chemicals, instruments, etc. require corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and non-magnetic properties. Carbon steel cannot meet the requirements of special properties.
